The bicycle is still the most common form of transport in Vietnam, which makes cycling in Vietnam a wonderful experience. The starting point is the old capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, Hue. From there we will cycle over the Hai Van pass into the Vietnamese countryside, passing rural villages on quiet back roads. We visit the Cham Museum in Danang, the Marble Mountains, and China Beach on the way to Hoi An and the Cham tower at My Son. We visit My Lai, scene to one of the worst massacres of the American Vietnam war. After relaxing at Nha Trang and Muine beach, you will continue to Hochiminh city as your last destination.
We cycle over 450 kilometers in 7 cycling days. Lots of time on this tour is spent sightseeing and exploring Vietnam. Participants can cycle as much or as little as they like and still enjoy the same views as the rest of the group. There is one long day with a 10 km climb at the end, and fit and experienced riders usually find it sufficiently challenging. Fast cyclists can ride at their own pace, as we supply detailed route notes. Our route is designed to take us off the main roads as much as possible, and we explore scenic back roads. We spend very little time on Highway One, cycling only on the quiet and particularly scenic sections. An air-conditioned support bus that travels behind the group supports us all the time.

Of the few attractions that belong to the city, Museum of Cham stands out with its rich collection of Cham artifacts. For those who crave for more outdoor activities, My Khe beach is a good place to spend time, either by yourself or with your loved ones. Short ride to Hoi An taking in the Marble mountains. In 1999, UNESCO formally recognizes Hoi An as a World Heritage Site. There are the things that make up the reputation. Hoi An is home to many temples, pagodas and the ancient homes that bear its very unique mark. The density of such sites is unlike any other in Vietnam. These places carry with them the history of Hoi An itself. The depiction of its formation, its once-prosperous merchant past, its progress and how it manages to become one of today are all well documented, in words and in priceless relics.
