Da Nang city serves as the gateway of the central region with a long coastline, smooth sand banks and beautiful landscapes. As the centre of the world heritage road and a land with time-honoured history and culture, Da Nang has attracted many tourists.
Major attractions in Da Nang include Ngu Hanh Son tourist area, craft villages (Hoa Hai stone village and sleeping mat villages of Yen Ne, Phong Nam and Phu Thuong), eco-tourist sites – Ba Na, Son Tra and Hai Van, historical relic sites – Dien Hai citadel, Nghia trung Khue Trung, K20 relic site, a system of museums – Cham Museum, Military Zone V Museum and Da Nang General Museum. It is easy to explore three world heritage sites, including My Son sanctuary, Hoi An ancient city and Hue imperial city if you depart from Da Nang.
Located near the city’s centre with convenient infrastructure, the 60-km beach in Da Nang is ideal for health tourism with white, smooth and pristine sand banks and beautiful landscapes. The city has strength in marine tourism development. Each year 50 vessels carrying 30,000 tourists visit the city. Local arrivals and businesses have also increased rapidly in line with economic development. Da Nang has hundreds of restaurants, many of which are famous for Vietnamese, European and Asian cuisines with services of international standards. Currently, the city’s tourism sector is implementing many marine tourism projects along the coastline.
